What Ayurveda Says About BeautyAccording to Ayurveda, unhappiness and sadness are reflected on the face and body of a person, and they cannot be hidden with the help of cosmetics.

But happiness and serenity show great natural beauty!

Each of us seeks beauty, regardless of gender and age and we all agree with this opinion. Some people are attractive by nature, while others need to work on themselves.

To do this, you must follow the basic principles of Ayurveda to achieve a state of self-realization. Such a person is internally beautiful and does not need the use of cosmetics.

In the arsenal of ayurveda, there are many procedures that can reveal natural beauty. First of all, this is a deep cleansing and restoration of the balance of doshas with the help of traditional rejuvenating therapy.

The body is freed from harmful substances and the nutrition of the cells is restored.

How to achieve this state?

External attraction depends on several factors:

  • Prakrti (body constitution)
  • Sara (structural composition)
  • Samhanan (body density)
  • Tvak (color and appearance of the skin of the face)
  • Praman (dimensions)
  • Dirhayulakshana (longevity)

In Ayurvedic cosmetology, methods are followed from the very birth of human beings. Much attention is paid to the correct regime of the day (dinacharya) and sleep (ratricharya) and the seasonal changes (ritucharya).

Panchakarma

It is very important to completely cleanse the body and that is done through the process of Panchakarma. It is a preventive measure to maintain and improve the work of cells, and a medical procedure.

Ama (toxins and toxins in the body) destroy the appearance of a person and lead to illness. Panchakarma is based on the integrated and holistic approach of Ayurveda to the purification of mind and body.

It is a key element for maintaining the skin in good condition and hydrated. It goes from deep layers of skin to the surface, moistens the cells in the stratum corneum of the epidermis, and then evaporates.

Snehana and svedana

Snehana (oiling) and svedana (steaming) are also given, it is the necessary moisturizing process. These procedures renew the skin tissue and make it supple.

As the skin cells move to the outer layer, they are filled with keratin, the horny derivative of the epidermis.
Keratin is extremely important since it protects the skin from the harmful effects of the environment. Oiling and steaming allow for retaining moisture in the skin, restoring the lipid barrier and balance of amino acids.
